Who We Are

The Professional Education Foundation (PEF) was founded in 2009 by industry leaders and successful entrepreneurs who experienced firsthand the transformative power of a world class education. They started PEF with a single mission: to bridge the gap between exceptional potential and financial reality.
We believe that poverty in Pakistan is not simply a lack of resources it is a tragic loss of human potential.

What We Do

We fund professional degrees for academically outstanding students in high impact fields medicine, engineering, law, IT, AI, and business. These are brilliant minds who have the drive to succeed, but are forced to halt their education simply because they cannot afford it.

When you equip a student like this with a professional degree, they don't just escape poverty. They break the cycle of generational poverty for their entire family.
At PEF, we're not just funding degrees; we're helping to build Pakistan's next generation of leaders.

For the past 11 years, PEF in the USA has been the engine driving this mission. Through the generosity of our US community, we funded approximately 1,140 professional scholarships last year alone, changing over a thousand lives in a single cycle.
