I was born into a humble background; I faced numerous challenges throughout my educational journey. Despite the hurdles, I was determined to achieve success and make a positive impact on my family's life. My father's income could barely meet our basic needs, and as the sole responsible member, I carried the weight of our financial burdens. However, with unwavering determination and the support of the Professional Education Foundation (PEF), I managed to overcome these obstacles and pursue my dreams. This is the story of my remarkable journey towards success.

I Mirwise Khan, hailing from a humble background, faced numerous economic challenges while pursuing my education. Despite these hurdles, my determination and resilience propelled me toward a path of success. My story is one of hope, opportunity, and the transformative power of education.

Life doesn't always go in a straight line. Sometimes, it brings you to a point where your patience, courage, and faith are tested. I am one of those people whose journey didn’t start from a place of comfort, but from the darkness of hardship. My name is Ali Madad Wassan and I am currently working in the Wildlife Department the same job that once belonged to my beloved father, which I received after his passing.

I am humbled and grateful to share my journey from a young dreamer to a PEC-certified Electronic Engineer. Alhamdulillah, I have been able to achieve this milestone through the blessings of Allah Almighty and the unwavering support of my parents, teachers, and classmates. My name is Engr Muhammad Anus, and I am a proud graduate of Dawood University of Engineering and Technology.

I was born in a middle class family in Karachi. I had to go through severe trials since my childhood. My father died when I was only four old. I received my early education under the tutelage of great teachers in a small school in Orangi Town. After passing matric with A-grade in 2017. Completed Pre-Engineering from Jinnah Govt. College For Nazimabad in 2019. I also worked temporary jobs in different sectors like (garment company and motorcycle spare parts) to meet my expenses.

My early education was completed in Hyderabad, where I obtained 77% marks in Matriculation and 68% in Intermediate. After that, I applied for admission to both Quaide-Awam University and Dawood University of Engineering and Technology (DUET), Karachi. I chose to pursue my bachelor’s degree at Dawood UET Karachi, as it aligned better with my aspirations.

In the bustling streets of Karachi, amidst the towering structures, lies Dawood University of Engineering and Technology, where dreams are nurtured, and futures are forged. It was here that my journey towards academic excellence and personal growth began.

I came from a modest upbringing, and my path to education was marked by various obstacles. Yet, I remained resolute in my pursuit of excellence and my desire to uplift my family's circumstances. As the eldest child, I shouldered the responsibility of supporting my family, as my father's income struggled to meet our fundamental needs. Undeterred by these challenges, I persevered with unyielding determination and the invaluable support of the Professional Education Foundation (PEF). This unwavering support enabled me to overcome the hurdles and chase my aspirations, culminating in a remarkable journey of triumph and personal growth.

This is Abdul Moiz Ansari from Dawood UET, Karachi, Metallurgy Engineering department. I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to the entire Professional Education Foundation team for their invaluable support during my studies, which significantly contributed to covering my educational expenses. Your efforts are truly commendable.

It is my immense pleasure to write my “success story” as an alumnus of PEF. I dedicate this story as a token of love, gratitude and appreciation to PEF, it's team and the benevolent donors. I wouldn't call my story a success story yet. In fact, it is neither a success nor a story. It is not a story or success because it isn't completed yet. It's still in writing. But, I have come a long way. I have journeyed the difficult terrain. The destination seems more at grasp now. Like, a painting. A drawing has been drawn on a canvas. Now, I have to put in more colors, more efforts, more details.

07th May 2019: Perhaps the only day in my life I ever prayed for an infection, no matter how severe! My story begins a bit further back. Coming from a very humble background, my father, the sole breadwinner of our family, has always struggled to manage our household expenses. We have always been indebted to someone, and my father never had a stable source of income.

I am Nauman Yasin, and my journey is one of resilience, hope, and the transformative power of education. Growing up in a humble household, I faced numerous economic challenges, but my determination and belief in the value of education propelled me toward a path of success.

My story begins in the majestic mountains of Skardu, GilgitBaltistan, a place often described as heaven on earth — where the skies meet the peaks and rivers carve their way through silent valleys. Yet behind this breathtaking beauty, life there has long been challenged by limited access to basic facilities such as healthcare, education, and modern development. When my parents were growing up, opportunities were scarce, and continuing education beyond the basics was something many could only dream of.

Belonging to a modest family of seven, including my parents, two sisters, and three brothers, my life has been a testament to the power of resilience and encouragement. Among the many struggles we faced, my father—a meter reader in WAPDA—stood as the guiding light, instilling in me the importance of education despite our limited resources. His steadfast support and selfless sacrifices have been the foundation of my journey, enabling me to rise above the challenges and achieve my dreams. Alongside my father’s determination, the Professional Education Foundation (PEF) played a pivotal role in my success, offering financial support at a time when continuing my education seemed impossible. Together, their contributions made my aspirations a reality.
